For the past several years Marisha Farnsworth and Kevin Rowell of The Natural Builders have co-taught Merritt College's Natural Building class with Nik Bertulis. This semesters worth of information is condensed into intensive weekend-long workshops where students gain experience working on actual natural building projects.

The Natural Building class is taught at Merritt College's Landscape and Horticulture Department in Oakland, CA. In 2005 our department was ranked Best Schooling for the Urban Ecologist by The San Francisco Bay Guardian.

Marisha Farnsworth and Kevin Rowell are also teaching weekend workshops through the Solar Living Institute.
