Furniture

To keep the carbon footprint of our furniture small, we source and mill local lumber. Many urban trees are cut down due to old age, sickness or death; we work with local arborists to mill the trees that might otherwise be turned into mulch at the dump. Where appropriate, we use lumber that is sustainably harvested, or recycled from older buildings. We use natural or no VOC finishes to promote indoor air quality and to preserve the inherent beauty of the wood.
